JoAnne "Fudgi" Killian Taylor, age 71 of Murphy, NC passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
She was the daughter of the late Fred and Coy Killian of Murphy, NC. JoAnne was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and a member of Hiawassee Baptist Church. She retired with over 20 years of service from Hilton Office Supply.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Beth Taylor; a brother, Rex Killian; two sisters, Lavean and Glenda Sue Killian; and a nephew, Marty Anderson.
She is survived by her son, Joey Taylor and daughter-n-law Kathy of Andrews; granddaughter, Kaitlin Taylor of Andrews; grandsons, Brad Thomas and wife Amanda and Brett Thomas all of Murphy; great-granddaughter, Danika Passmore of Andrews; brothers, Grover Killian and wife Minnie, Jeff Killian and wife Tammy and Ted Killian; sisters, Anita Ellis and husband Robert and Ruth Anderson; several nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a book club charity in honor of Fudgi and sent to her son, Joey Taylor, 246 Sunland Drive, Andrews, NC 28901.
