Rickey Stroud, age 56, of Hayesville, NC passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at his residence.
He was born in Towns County, GA to the late Homer Earnest and Lacy Reta Bradley Stroud. Rickey was a self-employed construction worker.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Rita Taylor and one brother, Chester Stroud.
He is survived by his children, Rickey T. Stroud, Lenessa Stroud, Lacey Stroud, Kayla Stroud and Alexandra Stroud; two brothers, Ronnie Stroud of Hiawassee, GA and Calvin Stroud; one sister, Connie Pebbles of Hiawassee, GA; one brother, Calvin Stroud and grandchildren, J.T. Grey, Kiersten Farmer, Jennifer Moss, Zachary Fisher, Paityn McCullough, Michael Stephen, Michaela Daley and Zane Oldread.
A A memorial service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Hayesville. Rev. Waylon Gibby will officiate.
