Marilynn Louise Hixson Williams, age 88, of Brasstown, NC passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home.
She was a native of Lucas County, Ohio and the daughter of the late John Ryan and Elsie Bacon Hixson. She moved from Clearwater, FL about eight years ago. Marilynn was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Amos Williams; and brothers, Charles Hixson and Karl Hixson.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Herbst and husband John of Brasstown, NC; her son, Kenneth Williams and wife Donna of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; three brothers, James Hixson of Phoenix, AR, John Hixson of Asheville, NC and Paul Hixson of Hayesville, NC; grandchildren, Jamie Sue, Monica, Josclyn and Keli Ann; and eight great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
