Vivian Genia Campbell, age 85 of Murphy, NC passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC. Vivian was the daughter of the late Albert and Delmar Arp Ledford. She was a seamstress. Vivian loved to sew, gardening and going places. She loved her children and grandchildren. Vivian was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Campbell; one son, Eric Campbell; two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Roger Campbell and Ralph Campbell; two daughters, Donna Poole and Denise Campbell; three brothers, Don Ledford, William Ledford and Johnny Ledford; one sister, Vada Pinkerton; five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Sunny Point Baptist Church. Rev. Allen Harris and Rev. Ronnie Crisp will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Morrow, Ronald Webster, Mark Mull, Johnny Lee Ledford, Josh Morrow and Paul Patterson.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy.
