Rita Ann Ellis, age 69 of Andrews, NC passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Union General Hospital in Blairsville, GA.
She was born in Gaston County, NC to the late Harold and Tula Ledwell Moss. Rita was a supervisor for Outboard Motors Corporation. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Beaver Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Jackie Ellis; three sons, Jeff Green, Scott Green and James Ellis and wife Grace; one daughter, Jackie Anderson and husband Russell; one brother, Terry Ledwell; three sisters, Peggy Bradley, Diane Clack and Barbara Jenkins; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. Rev. Eddie Hardin will officiate. Music will be provided by Russell Anderson and Keisha Scionti. Burial will be in the Valley River Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Ellis, Russell Anderson, Pheylan Scionti, Johnny Ellis, Kabe Ellis and Tim Ledwell.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM, Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
