Sharon Rose Neubauer, age 54, of Murphy, NC passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at her home.
She was a native of Cherokee County , NC and the daughter of Bill Rose of the Unaka community and the late Willa Mae Bryson Rose. She had worked as a Headstart teacher and enjoyed working with children, in the Photography Studio at Walmart and also as a waitress at the Waffle King and she loved her customers. She loved flowers and working in her flower garden . Sharon was a member of the Unaka Baptist Church.
In addition to her Mother she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Rose.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Rick Neubauer; daughter, Amber Barber of Murphy, NC; son, Jacob Neubauer of FL; sister, Debbie Roberts of Murphy, NC; and three grandchildren, Zane, Zoey and Vinny.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy, NC. Burial will be in the Unaka Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy, NC. Pastor Harold Stiles will officiate. Music will be provided by Dorothy Roberts. Pallbearers will be Rick Neubauer, Dan Bryson and Denny Morrow,Rick Aiken, Mike Rose and Rick Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy, NC.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Sharon Neubauer to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100 Charlotte, NC 28207.
