Christine "Chris" Branch, age 65, of Topton, NC passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 at her residence.
She was a native of Monroe County, New York and the daughter of the late Leon P. and Laura Wawro Root. Chris had been a teacher at the University of Central Florida. She loved teaching, flowers, the beach, her cats, and all animals. Chris was a good samaritan to everyone.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Branch; one son, Daniel Terrace Young of Asheville, NC; two sisters, Jacqueline McClure of Topton, NC and Marcia Niccarry of Greenville, New Hampshire; and one grandchild, Elizabeth DeLuca of Asheville, NC.
No Services are planned at this time.
