Janice Wilson Holloway, age 79 of Andrews NC, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at her residence.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC. Janice was the daughter of the late Gordon and Glenie Powers Wilson. Janice was one of the founders of Grace Fellowship Baptist Church in Andrews. She was a very active church member, taught Sunday school, played the piano, and was very instrumental in the music program of Grace.
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Holloway and herbrothers, Gordan Wilson Jr., Carroll Wilson and Keith Wilson.
She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Holloway and wife Gina, Mike Holloway and wife Rhonda, Doug Holloway and wife Jennifer and Jerry Holloway; two sisters, Lois Waldroup and Catherine Amos; thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church in Andrews. Pastor Dr. Jack Hollowell will officiate.The family will visit with friends following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the Grace Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 430, Andrews, NC 28901.
