Jerry Leo Gibson, age 72 of Hayesville, NC passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in Hayesville, NC. He was born in Washington, DC to the late Carter Taylor Gibson and Anne Heath Gibson.
Jerry graduated from St. John's in Washington, DC and LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a twin brother, Thomas; an older brother, Neal and a sister Carter Anne Nadonley.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Patricia A. Mosteller and daughter Kelley Lynn Gibson of San Diego.
He was in a family business for 30 years that specialized in design and installation of commercial kitchens with notable clients which included The White House, Blair House Walter Reed Hospital, etc.
He was a 16 year resident of Clay County. He enjoyed golf, guitar playing and walking with his two golden retrievers.
Jerry would have described himself as a soft spoken pragmatist. He was kind and loving and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
