Jerry Wayne Breazeale, age 71 of Andrews, NC passed away Tuesday May 2, 2017 at his home. Jerry was the son of the late Sadie Francis and Harry Breazeale. Jerry loved spending time with his family, enjoyed fishing and camping, playing card games, taking long rides down back roads with his wife, Sherry and was a member of the National Rifle Association. Jerry was a US Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Brandy Breazeale of Rayne, Louisana and Kelly Breazeale of Murphy.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Breazeale; son, Reid Breazeale; brothers, Harry Breazeale and wife Nancy of Murphy, Steve Dalrymple of Murphy, Mike Dalrymple and wife Juanita of Georgia; sisters, Mary Dalrymple of Murphy, Anne Sequra of Liberia, LA and Sue Dalrymple Coley of Murphy; sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, May 6 2017 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. Pastor Lee Tanner and Pastor Ronnie Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in Bellview Community Cemetery in Murphy with military graveside rites conducted by the V.F.W. Post #10222, Joe Miller Elkin American Legion Post #96 and D.A.V. Chapter #73 and American Legion Post #532 of Hayesville and V.F.W. Post #6812. Pallbearers will be Ryan, Jacob,Tim, Harry and Larry Breazeale and Adam Schlarb.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 2:00pm Saturday, May 6,2017 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
