Bernice Lee Ramsey, age 73 of Dalton, GA, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones, at North Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.
She was a native of Macon County, NC and a daughter of the late Walter and Ophia Roper.
Bernice is survived by her son Scott Ramsey and wife Ginger; brother Roy Roper; sisters Vevla Bateman, June Smith, Barbara Creasman, and Pam Bryson; grandchildren, Serena, Noah and AnnaMaria Ramsey and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 4:00PM at the Aquone Baptist Church. Pastor's Joel Creasman and David Postell will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Noah Ramsey, Doug Hampton, Brian Creasman, Nicky Bryson, David Cook and Gary Roper. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron and Steve Hampton, Danny and Dennis Cook.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 2:00 4:00PM at the Aquone Baptist Church.
