Obituary for Rose Ann Marescalco Rizzo

Rose Ann Marescalco Rizzo, 91 of Merritt Island, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Rose Ann was born on October 13, 1925 in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria DePasquale Marescalco. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Samuel Rizzo, brothers John Greco, Nicholas Marescalco, Dominick Marescalco (March 28, 2017) and sister Rose M Procopio. Surviving Rose Ann are her daughter Renee F Rizzo and son Timothy S Rizzo, nieces, nephews, brother & sisters in law and many other relatives and friends in various states.

Rose Ann a Loving, Faithful Servant of the Lord, a Precious Woman of God whose presence was greatly cherished, will be missed. She always had an encouraging word for everyone and shared the love of the Lord with whoever came across her path. Rose Ann moved to FL with her husband Samuel in 1947, where they involved their selves in the ministering and sharing the Word of God with all who would accept. She was a secretary for many years with different businesses and enjoyed meeting people.

Her creative hands crocheted many projects which she generously shared with anyone she met; she enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and doing various crafts.

Arrangements and burial will be at Florida Memorial Gardens of Cocoa, FL. In lieu of flowers, cards and donations may be sent to 1640 Oceana Drive, Merritt Island, FL 32952.
