Donna Baldwin Davis, age 56 of the Nantahala community went to her eternal home, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at her residence.
She was born in Buncombe County, NC to the late Bill and Willie (Woods) Baldwin. Donna loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, reading, camping and worshiping.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Davis, Sr., two infant sons, her sons, Larry Davis, Jr. and Joe Delpilar; and sister, Melinda Burres.
Donna is survived by four sons, Richard Davis of Marble, NC, Sean Davis of Ellijay, GA; Josh Griffith of the Nantahala community, Brent Baldwin and wife Candace of Marble, NC; three daughters, Melinda Griffith of the Nantahala community, Maria Davis of Bryson City, NC and Amanda Alderman and husband Adam of Valdosta, GA; two brothers, Allen Baldwin of Boones Mill, VA and Charles Baldwin of Rocky Mount, VA; grandchildren, Larry and Harmony Davis, Blake and McKenzie Davis, Corey Barnard, Grant Baldwin, Gavin Teesateskie and Tommy and Dakota Lee Alderman; and many nieces and nephews. Donna loved her children unconditionally and was proud of them.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Briartown Baptist Church. Rev. Chris Rumfelt will officiate. Burial will be in the Aquone House of Prayer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Alderman, Joshua Grifffith, Brent Baldwin and Tristin Howard.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM, Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Briartown Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Donna Davis to the family to help with expenses, 491 Goldie Garrett Road, Marble, NC 28905.
