Ronnie Ruben Young, age 66 of Marble, NC passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late George and Nellie Rich Young. Ronnie was a delivery man for GNS Bait. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ronnie loved the Lord and his family. He was a deacon at Harmony Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Young; two sons, Dewayne Young of Andrews and Charles Young of Marble; two daughters, Patricia Bartlett of Andrews and Christy Cable of Marble; one brother, Dennis Young of Carthage, TN; one sister, Loretta Porvencher of New Hampshire; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 8 PM, Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. Pastor Herman Bell and Elder Dennis Young will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
