Vivaudou Rose Farmer, age 92 of Murphy, NC passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the daughter of the late Henry and Nina Radford Rose. Vivaudou was owner and operator of Murphy Quick Wash Laundry. She loved her customers. Vivaudou loved to talk and socialize with people. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Vivaudou enjoyed being involved with her family's activities. She was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Farmer and second husband, Robert Irie Farmer; five brothers, Clarence Rose, Thad Rose, David Rose, Bucky Rose and infant brother.
She is survived by two daughters, Becky Killian of Murphy, NC and Connie Geer of Inman, SC; two sisters, Yvonne West of Andrews, NC and Nancy Dockery of Murphy, NC; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Pastor Harold Stiles will officiate. Burial will be held in the Unaka Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, great-grandsons and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
