Obituary for Leroy David Jordan

Leroy David Jordan, age 74 of Warne, NC passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Murphy Medical Center.

Leroy was born in Clay County, North Carolina to the late Marshall Jordan and Martha Shaw Jordan Coffey. He was also the step-son of the late Conley Coffey. Leroy moved back to the Pine Log community from Fayetteville, NC in 1987. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Pine Log Baptist Church. Leroy was a loving and faithful husband. He also loved his family and his grandson. Leroy loved to garden, fish and work on cars.

In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by his brother, Vance Coffey.

Leroy is survived by his wife, Bonnie Butler Jordan; one daughter, Jessica Jordan of Winston Salem, NC; one brother, Floyd Jordan of Iron Station, NC; two sisters, Joann Galloway and husband Frank of Andrews, NC and Lois Burkhart and husband David of Thomasville, NC; one grandson, Travis Ray; one cousin, Henry Shaw of Blairsville, Georgia; along with several nieces and nephews.
