Ralph Kiner Berrong, age 69, of Hayesville, NC passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at his residence.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. He was the son of the late Bon and Jessie Scroggs Berrong. Ralph was a self-employed construction worker and auto mechanic. He enjoyed car racing, fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Berrong.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Ledford Berrong; sons, Jimmy Berrong and wife Tammy, Barry Berrong and wife Christel and Todd Berrong; daughter, Sherry Smith and husband Duane; sister, Carolyn Rogers; brothers, Roger Berrong, Don Berrong, Johnny Berrong and George Berrong; five grandchildren, Katlyn Berrong, Austin Berrong, Jeremy Berrong, Cole Graves and wife Chelsea and Andrew Wilson; and one great grandchild, Crypton Graves; several nieces and nephews and special caregiver, Tonya Stewart..
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, August 6, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville. Rev. Aud Brown will officiate.
