June Barrow Springer, age 69, of Andrews, NC passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at her sister's residence.
She was born in Story County, Iowa to the late Joseph Barrow Jr. and Helen Bierma Barrow. She lived in Jonesborough, GA for most of her life. June was a member of the Jonesborough First Baptist Church for over 20 years. She was a member of the Andrews First Baptist Church. June was a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines; she was also a real estate agent and owned and operated a quarter horse farm where they trained, showed and bred the horses.
She is survived by her sister, Beverly Jean Huscusson and husband Mack; brothers, Joe and James Barrow; stepson, Butch Springer and wife Denise; step-grandchild, Brittany Grigg and husband Logan; and two great-granddaughters.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Andrews First Baptist Church. Rev Calvin Bobo will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
