Bill William Sudderth, age 67 of Murphy, NC passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in Hayesville, NC.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC. Bill was the son of the late Oliver and Margie Lloyd Sudderth. Bill worked in construction and also Wal-Mart in Murphy. He enjoyed NASCAR and watching Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Bill also enjoyed playing softball, baseball and watching the Green Bay Packers. He loved spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Vanessa Patterson and one brother, Steve Sudderth.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janet Sudderth; two sons, Jermale Sudderth and Jonathan Moreland; one daughter, Shannon Sudderth; one sister, Betty Sudderth; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Minister Holland and Minister Carter will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct, Glen Allen, VA 23058.
