Susan Lenore Johnston Coleman, age 81 of Hayesville, NC passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at her residence.
She was a native of Clay County, NC. Susan was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Cora Matheson Johnston. She was an inspector for Dolco Packaging in Lawrenceville, GA. Susan was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Regina Walker.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Coleman; one son, Mark Coleman and wife Lori; two daughters, Wilma West and husband Kenny and Lenore Coleman and companion Tommy Gee; four sisters, Mary Ann Owen, Carolyn Fulton, Abigail Ledford and Roberta Bradley; six grandchildren, Travis Coleman and wife Michelle, Leeann Coleman, Emily Mull and husband Shane, Phillip West and wife Stephanie, Cora and Liam Coleman; four great-grandchildren, Madison, Piper and Brycen Coleman and Branson Mull.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Hayesville. Pastor John Hill and Pastor Eddie Dietz will officiate. Burial will be in the Hayesville First United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Travis Coleman, Phillip West, Shane Mull, Donald Kimsey, Chuck Walker and Tony Stalcup. Honorary pallbearers will be Wednesday Night Circle Table, David Burch, Ronnie Burch and Danny Burch.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 PM, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Hayesville.
