James Roger Guile, Sr., age 73 of Andrews, NC passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Cobb County, GA.
He was a native of Naples, NY and the son of the late Leslie Guile and Lillian Sick Guile. James was a devout Christian man. He enjoyed woodworking and deer hunting.
He is survived by his wife Joan Patterson Guile, one son, James R. Guile, Jr and wife Sheri of Warner Robins, GA; two daughters, Heidi Burns and husband Jeffrey of Dunnellon, FL and Jacquelyn Kijawski and husband Larry of Warner Robins, GA; two step-sons, Gary Patterson and Larry Patterson and wife Sandy; one step-daughter, Rebekah Patterson; one brother, Thomas L. Guile, Sr. of Dunnellon, FL; one sister, Rebecca Santiago of Farmington, NY; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathryn Guile.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. L.B. Adams will officiate. Burial will be in the Ranger Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM, Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy.
