Geneva Helen Coker Auberry, age 101, of Hayesville, NC passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 in Clay County, NC.
Geneva was a native of Clay County, NC and the daughter of the late Carl and Mamie Jo Scroggs Coker. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafting, gardening and quilting. Geneva was a member of Truett Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years in 2009, Roy Howard Auberry; and three brothers.
She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Nicholson and husband Larry of Hayesville, NC, Pat Emrick and husband Tom of Five Points, AL and Kathy Waldron of Whispering Pines NC; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 3 pm, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Hayesville First United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Kirk Hatherly will officiate.
