M. Ann Oldham Boyd, age 81, of Blairsville, GA and formerly of Murphy passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at her residence.
She was a native of Greenville South Carolina and the daughter of the late Edwin and Virginia Clemmer Oldham. She did payroll for her husband's business Boyd's Cabinets. She enjoyed bowling, lunch with family and friends and gardening.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Boyd Jr.; and one brother, Donald Oldham.
She is survived by three daughters, Dianna L. Ricker and husband Casey of Mystic, CT, Vicki S. Watson and husband Kenneth of Murphy, NC and Terry A. Donaldson and husband Daniel of Crystal River, FL; one son, David W. Boyd of Blairsville, GA; one brother, Edwin P. Oldham of Oak Harbor WA; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer A. Dusenberry of Lake St. Louis, MO, Timothy S. Watson of Spring Hill, TN, Daniel M. Donaldson of Land O' Lakes, FL, J. Scott Watson of Bellair, FL, Emily L. Romero of Agana Hts, Guam, Cindy A. Lewis of Inverness, FL, Kendall R. Donaldson of Dunnellon, FL, Robert Boyd of TN, Hannah S. English of Murphy, NC and Jacob G. Ricker of Mystic, CT; 19 great-grandchildren; her caregivers, Lisa Waters, Kay Coffey, Rebecca Huebner and Angie Brown.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Chaplain Greg Bailey will officiate. Burial will be in Laurel Hills Memory Gardens in Young Harris, GA. Pallbearers will be Timothy S. Watson, Daniel M. Donaldson, J. Scott Watson, Robert Boyd, Kendall R. Donaldson and Jacob G. Ricker.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
