Annetta Mae Spangrude, age 83 of Murphy for 25 years, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 25, 2019. She passed away in the comfort of her home with her loving family.
Annetta was born on March 21, 1936 in Spokane, Washington. Her loving parents were the late Merritt Francis and Julia Christine Maddux who raised her in the Helena, Montana area.
She is survived by her loving husband, George Henry Spangrude whom she wed on November 21, 1959 and her two loving sons, Daniel George and David Shaun Spangrude, as well as 6 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 new great-great grandchild; through Daniel and his wife, Martha.
Annetta led a rich and colorful life as a frontier child helping, cared for the horses her father rode in the International Rodeo Circuit, touring as a professional big band singer, caring for others as a nurse and later through counseling and ministry.
The family will be honoring Annetta privately at her graveside at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
