Carolyn Head, age 72 of Andrews, NC passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 at her residence.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the daughter of the late Harvey and Mable Nichols Owensby. Carolyn was an inspector for electronic components. She was a member of Valley River Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Head.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Hill and Tim of Marble; grandchildren, Stephen Crisp, Jessica Crisp and Johnny Maxey, Robert Hill and Stephanie, Jessica "Sissy" Hill and Kendra Lester; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Hill, Conner Crisp, Eli Hill, Vivian Hill and Jayon Maxey.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the Valley River Baptist Church Cemetery in Andrews. Rev. Dewayne Payne will officiate.
