Addie Lee Johnson, age 80, of Murphy, NC passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and born to the late John and Mary Moore Allen. Addie was a caretaker. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and also a choir member and missionary.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband George Johnson; and brothers, Jim Allen, George Allen and Henry Allen.
She is survived by sons, Mitchell Lloyd, Zeke Johnson and wife Evon, Bo Johnson and wife Gail, Tony Johnson and wife Regitta and J.J. Johnson and wife Crystal; daughters, Zula Cox, Fannie Johnson and husband Lamar, Jennifer Trammel and husband Ron and Charlotte Charles and husband Roger; a brother Rob Allen and wife Jan; 23 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
