Glenda Irene Herndon, age 71 of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
Glenda was born in Murphy, NC to the late Floyd and Corene Hunt Little. She had worked for 42 years in the banking industry. Glenda was also a member of the Eastern Star Notla Chapter and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Herndon; and niece, Tiffany Little.
She is survived by brother, Thomas Little and wife Shelia; nephew, Tommy Little and wife Jennifer; niece, Christina Rossi and husband Ed; and great nephew, Leo Rossi.
A private graveside service will be held at 11 am, Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Alan Harris will officiate. Paul Thompson, Steve Thompson, Jim Ronaldo, Johnny Patterson, Michael Cornelius and Andrew Kjeldgaard.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Thomas Little, 1185 Old Culberson Rd, Murphy, NC 28906.
