On January 9, Margaret Beth Bruce, age 80, a loving wife of 62 years, a mother of four, grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 20 was welcomed to Heaven. As hard as the end of life is for those of us left behind, remember that God would never give a man a good woman and her offspring a loving Mother unless they deserved her. Her physical presence will be missed but her love will remain deep in our hearts and passed on to those we treat with respect, kindness and care.
She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Billy Marie McKean Gustason. Beth was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Bruce; one son, Richard Edward Bruce (Mary); three daughters, Dana Donnelly, Diana Shuler (Alan) and Dawn Doore (Jeff); two brothers, Jim Gustason and Martin Phillips; one sister, Francis Phillips; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church. Rev. Noah Crowe and Dr. Chester Jones will officiate.
Family and friends are encouraged to wear a mask and to practice social distancing at the memorial service.
