Esther Day, 86, of Murphy passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 She was born in Cherokee County to the late Claude and Fannie Love Day. Esther had worked for MGM Brakes in customer service.
In addition to the parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers, Ralph Day, David Day, Stokes Day, and Melvin Day; sisters, Mildred Day, and Dorothy Harrison.
Surviving is sister, Ruth Nelson and husband, Roald; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am Saturday, April 02, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy.
Graveside service will follow after the visitation Saturday, April 02, 2022 at Valleytown Cemetery with Rev. Keith Nuckolls officiating. Pallbearers will be Derek Nelson, Corbin Nelson, Scott Day, Rhyan Arrowood, and Kolton Arrowood.
