Michael Mann, 33, of Murphy passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
He was the son of Jimmy and Shirley Younce Mann of Murphy, NC. Michael had worked at the Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino as a Sports Book Writer. He loved to trade and work on cars and trucks, jeep riding, four wheeling, camping, and fishing. Michael loved doing projects. He was a member of the Marble Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Eddie Mann.
Surviving in addition to his parents, his fiancé, Sydney Robinson; a brother, Scott Hicks and wife Anna; Uncles, Nelson Younce and wife Shelby and Raymond Younce and wife Joyce; Aunt, Mary Wilson and husband Charlie; and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy with Rev. Aud Brown officiating and a special friend Steve Forrister. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Desmond Ledford, Matt Allman, Nick Selwyn, Ryan Morrow, Mitch Hood and Scott Dillon. Honorary pallbearers are Harrison Duncan, Willard Enloe, Aaron Jacobs, Billy Vespasian, Bill Tincher, and Steve Robinson.
The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 2 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
