Stanley L. Patterson, age 85 of Andrews, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
Stanley was born in Graham County, North Carolina to the late Dewey and Mabel Colvard Patterson. He loved his old western movies and his job at Baker Furniture for over 40 years. After retirement, he worked over ten years at Wal-Mart. Stanley enjoyed football. He also loved his family, his friends and his cat, Nolsey. His family attended Bear Creek Baptist Church and old mother church through his life.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sonja Crisp.
He is survived by his wife, Eula Gregory Patterson; his sons, Ethan Patterson and Stephan Patterson (Manuela); his daughters, Jill Hughes (Doug) and Cynthia Patterson; his seven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Bear Creek Baptist Church in Robbinsville with Rev. Larry Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Bear Creek Baptist Church prior to the funeral service.
