Roberta Ann Pimentel Horton, age 84 of Hayesville, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026.
Roberta was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Joseph Robert and Gladys Leola Francis Pimentel. She had worked as a law firm receptionist. Roberta loved working, shopping, cooking and watching sports. She especially loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Horton; her brothers, Robert Pimentel, Donald Francis and Wayne Pimentel.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen Horton (Frances) and Randy Horton (Lisa); her daughter, Sherry Ashworth (Brian); her five grandchildren; and her seven great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Hayesville (2632 Old Hwy 64 West) with Rev. Dennis Miles officiating. Her family will serve as pallbearers.
