Frances Louise Whitener, 76, of Murphy passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021. She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County. Frances was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.
She was the daughter of the late Glenn and Deltha Lovingood. She was also preceded by a grandson, Devin Whitener.
Surviving are her husband, Leroy Whitener; two sons, Brian and Tim Whitener; two daughters, Tammy and Tina Whitener; three sisters, Wanda Moss, Faye Lovingood, and Jerry Payne; five grandchildren, Josh and Troy Taylor, Tia Longwith, Case Summerlin, and Wes Harp; and nine great grandchildren, Talia, Tori, and Layla Taylor, Cooper Harp, Cameron Summerlin, Aubrey Whitener, TJ Whitener, Harlan and Ava Longwith.
