Patricia E. (Tyson) Brunswick, age 83 of Tallmadge, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026.
She was born January 25, 1943, in Durham, North Carolina, to parents William and Macie (Jones) Elliott. Pat graduated from Murphy High School in 1961 and then moved to Ohio.
She worked at Taylor Instruments, where she met the father of her children, Robert Tyson. Pat also worked at Akron Pattern Works and retired from Akron Thermal.
Pat’s favorite pastime was going to estate sales where she found many, many “treasures.”
Pat is survived by her children: Jeffrey Tyson and Kelly Tyson, and her grandson Robert Garvin.
Her wishes for cremation are being honored. An inurnment for Pat will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Hanging Dog Baptist Church Cemetery in North Carolina with Garth and Carolyn Cooke conducting the service.
