Mark Paul McKinley, age 76 of Murphy, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Mark was born in West Palm Beach, Florida to the late Paul George and Margaret Chewning McKinley. He worked as a supervisor for Florida Power and Light. Mark loved fishing, camping and especially loved sponsoring people in Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a member of Ranger United Methodist Church in Murphy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Scott McKinley.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Farrow McKinley; his daughter, Lisa Hood (Rich) of Tennessee; his son, Greg McKinley (Kelli) of Florida; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Willow and Wylie McKinley; his nephew, Miles McKinley of Florida; and his niece, Kelli Ambrosino of Marble.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Ranger United Methodist Church in Murphy. Burial will be in Ranger United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg McKinley, Sam Farrow, Sam Davis, Ken Price, Bill Tanner and Steve Heinchon.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy.
