Jack Randall Martin, age 84 of Marble, NC passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC to the late Boyd and Edna Brooks Martin. Jack retired from OMC as a machinist. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jack was an avid Andrews Wildcat fan; he never missed any of his three grandchildren's ball games. He was a member of Maltby Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Jean Bettis Martin; one brother, Jerry Martin; and one sister, Nancy Passmore.
He is survived by two sons, Jamie Martin (Shasta) of Marble, NC and Timmy Martin; one sister, Linda Conley of Andrews, NC; three grandchildren, Amber, Andrew and Austin Martin.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 pm, Friday, August 21, 2026 at the Maltby Baptist Church. Rev. Kenny White will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Martin, Austin Martin, David Watkins, Brent Burch, Steve Jones and Chris Hohmann.
The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 pm, Friday, August 21, 2026 at the Maltby Baptist Church.
