Creed Patterson, age 59 of Murphy, NC passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026.
He was born in GA to Melvin and Patricia Morrow Patterson of Murphy, NC. Creed loved watching football games, and spending time with his great nieces and nephew, Kennedy, Tristan and Alice. He attended Trout Cove Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Jerry Patterson (Sunshine); one sister, Glenda Jones (Terry) all of Murphy, NC; nieces and nephews, Tiffany White (Josh), Dusty and Kayla Patterson.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, August 16, 2026 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Jimmy Morrow and Rev. Nathan Rose will officiate. Burial will be in the Unaka Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Breazeale, Tim Breazeale, Dusty Patterson, Charles Loudermilk, Travis Whitaker, William Freeman and Jimmy Morrow.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm, Sunday, August 16, 2026 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
