Nolan Reed Queen, 61, of Andrews, NC passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021. He enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR, knives, and was an Eagle collector. Nolan had worked in construction as a steelworker.
He was the son of the late Howard and Mary Bell Weeks Queen. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Queen.
Surviving are a son, Nolan Queen, a daughter, April Davis and husband, Rob, and a bonus daughter, Samantha Postell; two brothers, James and Charles Queen; four sisters, Carolyn Prince, Mag Ward, Kat Dyer, and Frances Farist; and three grandsons, Austin Lawrence, Brady Silvers, and Roman Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews with Rev. Alan Wildsmith officiating. Interment will be in the Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brady Silvers, Austin Lawrence, Jamie Queen, Danny Flowers, Josh Litchfield, and Joe Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be Roman Davis, and Sam Thrasher.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Thursday evening, September 16, 2021 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
