Jade Michael Carpenter, 66, of Andrews passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 in Union General Hospital. He was born in Cherokee County to the late J. L. "Jade" and Faith Nelson Carpenter. Jade loved riding motorcycles, fishing, and camping.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Rickey Carpenter.
Surviving are his wife, Janet Morgan Carpenter; a son, Michael Carpenter and his wife, Angel; two daughters, Jada Garmon and husband, Shaun, and Roxanne Reeder, and husband, John; a sister, Robin Mull; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews with Rev. Jim Postell officiating. Interment will be in Red Marble Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Blaine Hooper, Jody Cantrell, Ricky Morgan, Carroll Roper, Anthony Herrera, and Ronald Wilkins.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 Saturday afternoon at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews prior to the services.
