Betty Jean Salisbury Lee, age 81 of Murphy, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021.
She was born in Sutton, West Virginia to the late William "Owen" and Orvie Davis Salisbury. Betty was a homemaker, loved gardening flowers, enjoyed going for rides and watching and taking care of her birds. She loved church and was a member of Culberson Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 13 brothers; one sister; and a grandchild, Tommy.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Lee; daughters, Patti Shuttleworth (Mark) and Marcia Koval (John); a son, Robert A. Lee (Karen); grandchildren, Jacki, Joshua, Lisa and Scott; eight great grandchildren; and two new great-great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy. Rev. Keith Mashburn wiill officiate. Burial will be in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
The family will receive friends from 12pm-2pm on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
