Claudia Cynthia Haskins Toth, age 84 of Murphy, NC passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022.
She was born in Miami, FL to the late Louis and Cynthia Haskins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Calvin Toth, and a sister Phyllis Grice.
Claudia moved to Murphy in 1984. In the early 1990’s she owned Claudia’s Fabrics of Downtown Murphy. She was a Weight Watchers counselor in the early 2000’s. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. Claudia was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church where she loved teaching Sunday school, serving as choir director, and playing the piano or organ.
She is survived by a son, Michael Toth of London, England; daughter, Tammy (Jan) of Murphy, NC; grandchildren, Aiden McCoy Williams (Tristan), Gabriel Calvin McCoy and Hope Nakole McCoy; and great grandchildren Lochlan Joseph Williams and Beckett Calvin Williams.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Friday, January 28, 2022, at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Mr. Carl Hubbell will officiate. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Murphy, NC.
