Junior Howard Frady, age 90 of Murphy, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 peacefully at his home.
Junior was born in Polk County, TN to the late Homer and Ocie White Frady. He had worked for a warehouse distributing steel. Junior loved hunting, fishing, laying on the couch watching old westerns and sitting on the porch with his dog Tweeter. He was of the Baptist faith. Junior was a United States Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Virginia Frady; and his six brothers and four sisters.
Junior is survived by his sons, Michael Dale Frady, Jeffery Howard Frady and wife, Cori, and Anthony Wayne Frady; his daughters, Debbie Jean Helton and husband Harold, Teresa Diane Coffey and Jennifer Ann Bryant; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, June 6, 2022 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Rev. Allen Harris and Rev. Kenny Korn will officiate. Burial will be in Ledford Cemetery in Murphy. Pallbearers will be Jamie and Tyler Helton, Brian and Aaron Coffey, Zac Frady, and Randy Curtis. Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Frady and R.L. Howard.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 Monday afternoon prior to the funeral service at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
