James Nolan Ivester, age 71 of Rabun Gap, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
James was born in Hickory, NC to the late Nolen Ivester and Mildred Dye Armstrong. He was a stonemason. James loved motorcycles and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Lewis Ivester; and a sister, Terry D’alessandro.
James is survived by his son, Ben Ivester; his daughter, Jayme Ivester; his sisters, Betty Lisle and Mary Hurley; and two grandchildren, Nolen Ivester and Taylor Ivester.
The family will receive friends from 12pm - 2pm on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy.
A graveside service will be held immediately following visitation in Pinelog Cemetery in Brasstown.
