Jimmie Patterson Parker, 85 of Hayesville passed away Friday, May 12, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Earnest and Hazel Ledford Patterson. Jimmie was a lifetime resident of Clay County and a member of Tusquittee Church of God.
In addition to the parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Parker; brothers, Edward Ledford, Zeb Patterson, and James Ray Patterson; sisters, Alwayne Ledford, and Diane Pierce; and special friend and companion, John Dills.
Jimmie is survived by a son, Harold Dean Parker and wife, Theresa; a daughter, Mary Jane Parker; a loving ex son-in law, Terry Parker; a brother, Donald Patterson; a sister, Norma Jean Davenport; and eight grandchildren, Amelia Dawn Ledford, Dwight Scott McClure, Arica Brook Parker, Amber Nicole Parker, Jeremy Lee Parker, David Joshua Parker, Cory Ledford, and Kurt McClure, 13 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Tusquittee Church of God with Kurt Ledford officiating.
