Mary Jane Jenkins, age 94, formerly of Williamsburg, Kentucky and recently of Melvindale, Michigan passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
She was a loving mother of Charles David Jenkins (Sharon); dearest grandmother of Michael Dickey, Eric A. Jenkins, Heather K. Parsons and Norah Lentz; loving great-grandmother of Lucas M. Sansom, Kyra Lee Sansom and London Eve Sansom.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Verdi Osborne; her late husband, Charles Jenkins Jr.; her daughter, Mary Elaine Dickey (Ernest) and Mary’s brothers and sister Arnold Perkins, Pete Perkins, Howard Perkins and Nancy Jane Wilder.
Mary Jane will be deeply missed by family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm, Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy. Rev. Patrick Garrett will officiate.
