Obituary for Sarah Elizabeth Townson

Sarah Elizabeth Townson, age 67 of Murphy, NC passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024.

She was born in Murphy, NC to late Edward and Frances Moore Townson. Sarah worked in the public school system as a teacher for North Carolina and Tennessee.

She is survived by her son, Robert Ament (Kristen); two grandsons, Chandler and Troy; brother, Mike Townson (Tracy); niece, Hailey Townson (Keith); and Aunt, Patricia Jabley.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.

Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
