Gracie Mae Morrow Beaver, age 80 of Turtletown, TN, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025.
Gracie was born in Murphy to the late Sherman and Beatrice Murphy Morrow. She loved to listen to the radio. Grace also loved her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Reid's Chapel in Murphy.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fred Beaver; her son, Charles Ray Beaver; her daughter, Bethany Beaver Phillips; and a brother in law, Bud Morgan.
She is survived by her son, Ron Beaver of Turtletown, TN; her daughters, Debbie Ball (Scott) of Copperhill, TN and Brenda Taylor (Curtis) of Copperhill, TN; her brother, Harold Morrow (Jewell) of Chatsworth, GA; her sisters, Faye Baker (Edward) of Murphy, NC, Shirley Morgan of California and Mapel Nix; her grandchildren, Harley, Haley, Crystal, Heather, Brian and Nicholas; and nine great grandchildren.
A funeral service for Gracie and her daughter, Bethany Beaver Phillips who passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy with Rev. Calvin Murphy officiating. Music will be provided by Andy and Tammy Ware Family. Burial will be in Poindexter Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Curtis Taylor, Scott Ball, Brian Taylor, Harley Carter, Nicholas Beaver and Anthony Worthy. Honorary pallbearer will be Landon Taylor.
The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 1 pm, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy prior to the funeral service.
