Melba "Snookie" Jones Morrow, age 81, of Andrews passed away Monday, March 17, 2025.
Snookie was the daughter of the late William "Bill" Jones and Winnie Faye Hall Jones. She was a graduate of Andrews High School and worked in the textile industry until becoming a full time grandma. Snookie enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, and being outdoors with her family. She loved to laugh most of all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Eldon" Morrow; siblings, Sue, Joyce, Annie Ruth, Betty, Bill; and her beloved brothers/best friends, Jack and Harry Jones.
Surviving is her daughter Laynette Morrow of Andrews; granddaughters, Chanteah Jordan (DJ) and Clara Gillespie (Colin); great grandchildren, Cooper Orr, Nevaeh Gillespie and Kaliah Gillespie; special nieces, Frankie Hampton and Ann Bickley; as well as many other nieces, nephews; and friends whom she loved dearly.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later time.
