Tony Lee Curtis, age 66 of Murphy, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
Tony was born in Murphy to the late JB and June Carroll Curtis. He was a United States Army veteran with 20 years in the service. Tony worked for a propane gas company for 16 years. He was an outdoorsman as he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, boating, golfing, four wheelers and ATV’s. Tony loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Adams Curtis; two daughters, Trina Morrow (Kirk) and Traci Anderson (Andy); one brother, Randy Curtis (Connie); and his grandchildren, Emma Martin (Colton), Brad Simmons, Landon Simmons, Ava Simmons, Anna Anderson and Mason Anderson.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Friday, February 13, 2026 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy with Rev. Aud Brown officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted. Burial will be in Grape Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Curtis, Dakota Curtis, Colton Martin, Landon Simmons, Gary Albertson and Ricky Curtis.
The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 2 pm, Friday, February 13, 2026 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home prior to the service.
