Dolly Louise Mott, age 95 of Hayesville, NC passed away Friday, February 13, 2026.
She was born in Washington, DC to the late Gladys Ashbury. Dolly loved playing golf and was an avid cruiser. She enjoyed playing all kinds of cards with her friends, gardening and enjoying the sun. Dolly was a swim coach. She loved her furbabies, especially her maltese dogs. Dolly was a member of Hayesville First United Methodist Church.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mott and one son, John "Jack" Mott.
She is survived by one son, Bob Mott (Stacey) of Ormond Beach, FL; one daughter, Mary Mott of Hayesville, NC; and three grandsons, John Mott, Chase Mott and Robby Mott.
A celebration of life service will held Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Shiloh Stables in Hayesville where they celebrated the Kentucky Derby every year.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
